Camping play helps children build a sense of identity and belonging as they share roles and work together (EYLF Outcomes 1 & 2). It encourages language development through storytelling and negotiation (Outcome 5) and supports problem-solving and imagination when they decide how to set up tents or cook meals (Outcome 4). The physical setup builds motor skills and independence (Outcome 3), while also fostering respect for nature and the environment (Outcomes 2 & 4)

We love camping too! This is such a beautiful example of play-based learning. It is fantastic to see the children building independence, motor skills, and a love for the great outdoors all at once. Thanks for sharing this adventure! 🏕️
